darn telepathy...is much like the Molly...empathy. cept...more detailed. cept Molly is very wary with her power, and doesn't tell people. sh, you don't know...be careful or I might just have to use your own power on you... -makes mental note as to become best friend's with the alex so as not to anger her- doesn't need a dead Molly on my hands... -sigh- the Molly and the Alex would be a dynamic duo if they paired up to take over the world. -snicks- -shrugs-

Relentless screaming. It was pulling away at the back of her mind. Flashes of memory. Her father falling from his recliner, his eyes rolling up into his head.
The fear was rolling through her body, the fear she felt when she her the news of her mother. The fear her father felt at the loss of his wife
It took five minutes of sitting, whatching her fathers convulsing body to call an ambulance.
Alessandra opened her eyes warily and rolled over to face the buzzing clock on her nightstand. She hit the snooze button with a scowl. She turned back over and looked at the posters and pictures that covered her pale green walls. Posters from movies and of bands, pictures of her and her cousins from last summer, and pictures she had ripped from magazines. She closed her eyes again, letting sleep once again take over her body. Without warning ber clock took to buzzing again. With a groan she turned and hit the off button. Not usually one to sleep late on the weekends she had set her alarm the night before. Now she wish she'd hadn't.
Sleep tugged at her eyelids as she pulled back her covers and sat up in bed. She sighed softly and placed her head into her hands. She hadn't had a nightmare in a while, and it usually took a toll on her emotions. Making her snippy and easily annoyed. But she wasn't going to let that happen. The last thing she needed was drama right now. What she needed a shower, a long hot shower.
She walked to the bathroom with all her needed toiletries. 30 minutes later she emerged feeling fresh and awake. She pulled a brush through her hair a few times and set her blowdryer on high. She pushed the dream as far back into her mind as she could.
She walked back into her bedroom and to her closet, where she pulled out a pair of older worn blue jeans, and a dark green tee shirt. She felt the need to be outside, in the open and away from the confines of the dormitories. Her mind wandered the possibilities before deciding she needed fresh air After slipping on ser flip flops she shut off the light and closed the door behind her.
Alessandra made her way out onto the grounds with a lazy gait. Humming softly to herself as she walked and absorbing the soft sunshine around her. Others were milling around the grounds as well. More were in groups as well as scattered coulples. She sighed softly and continued her way down the path.
Soft whispers began floating behind her eyes. This is why she was wary of the nightmare. Her flying emotions affected her control on her powers. She pushed the thoughts away causing a small throbbing at her temples. She gave a soft groan. Maybe she should have stayed asleep.
-akwardly short- -sigh- I'm not used to posting on these boards -dies- -got sidetracked-

Hooray! He was going to get to cook. But where? Flick loved cooking he really truely did, it was the one thing he enjoyed doing at home and the only thing he really could do at home. Other than read. HIs parents didn't own a TV till he was about fifteen, they were ultrareligious and, though he walked about 5 miles and took the bus ten miles everyday to go to a nice school ni the historical district of New Orleans, he was very embarassed of his modest home so it wasn't likely he brought friends around much. Considering most of his friends. except the neighborhood kids, were loaded. His large pale hand wrapped around hers..aw how sweet.
"The problem now is finding a kitchen."
He said with a thoughtful nod. They could break into the cooking classroom. Jeremy was pretty positive he could get the professor to understand if she appeared. He was afterall her favorite student, probably one of the only women who sucumbed to his lowsy charm. All he had to do was say 'is this your sister?' when picking up a picture of the professors thirteen year old granddaughter and the woman was putty in his hands. Swinging her arm like little kids do to their parents, he began hopping around excitedly.
"Prepare to be whooped, Molly-sue. Chef Flickeroo takes no prisoners in the kitchen."
He snickered and winked, as they skipped across the lawns. Smoewhere along the way, they had released hands and Flick continued skipping in random patterns across the lawns. HE turned around to look back and stick his tongue out at her, still skipping unti WHAM. Down he went, righ tonto his back, legs flying in the air. His head whipped back with the thud and hit the cold damp earth. Ow. Embarassing, truely embarassing. Groaning he sat up holding the back of his head and looking at the source of his pain, a girl that stood there dumb struck.
"An apology would be nice right now...or you know...you could offer to help me up."
He said in a slightly grumpy voice.
"Sorry this just hurts like a bitch."

ooo, is my turn to post? -claps-
"Whooped? Yeah, well we'll see." She snorted, giving him a nudge.
It began with a simple feeling, like something was wrong. But it suddenly grew stronger and stronger until it was a twisting pain in her body. Her skin began to crawl and her temples began to throb. A soft groan escaped her lips, and she felt tired all of a sudden. Now? Seriously? The day had been going so well and she was about to head off to probably have one of the best meals of her life, and her empath powers decided to act up now? She had let her guard down, which made it easy for other people's emotions to enter and over take her own. Well, she'd had worse. At least the pressure was tolerable and not making her channel things in ways even she didn't understand. But it was still annoying. She quickly turned her head. There were too many people around to pin point exactly who it was that was being haunted by there past, well, besides herself. She turned back to Flick, forcing a smile. Focus, Molly. Focus on something. She locked in on Flick and his emotions. He was excited, probably itching to get to the kitchen and cook. That made her smile, and she was finding it easier to gain control. In a matter of seconds she was back to normal, only feeling the pressures of her own emotions. His child like demeanor had saved her from a serious headache. But what had caused the sudden outburst of emotions? She was positive they weren't her own. Infact, she was more happy than she had been in months. Shrugging it off, she turned her attention back to Flick, who had released her hand in favor of skipping around like a three year old. She laughed, running to catch up with him. She opened her mouth to warn him of the hazards of skipping backwards, but it was too late. His feet flew up in the air, quite comically, and she stopped mid jog to survey the scene. It took all the will power inside of her to not burst out laughing. She would spare his pride and his ego.
Snickering a little, she sauntered over until she was towering over him on the ground. She looked straight down at him, smiling.
"Walk much?" She laughed, grabbing his arm and helping him up.
"You may be a superhero in the kitchen but I think you should get basic things like walking down first before they release you onto the innocent people of the city." She teased, wrinkling her nose and sticking her tongue back out at him.
She turned to the girl, and the wave of emotions washed over her again. So the source of her brief agony had been this girl? Curious, she extended her hand, wondering what would make the girl so disoriented.
"Hi, I'm Molly...Molly Sue." She snorted, tossing Flick a look.
"And this bone head who ran into is none other than the infamous Jeremy Swason." She nudged him to be polite and extend his like she had, but he was still pouting from his embarrassing tumble.
"Oh, common, Flick. Smile. Your fine. Smile or I won't eat a bite of your cooking." She smirked.
This was new. Since when had she been so outgoing? Maybe things at Hawthorne would work out afterall.

Alex walked down the path, wondering why she came out here in the first place. Noone she know was out here and she could still feel how tired her body was. She kept her eyes half lidded and trained on the ground, watching the sidewalk as it passed under her feet.
She glanced up quickly, hearing voices ahead of her as well as floating around in her thoughts. She didn't even have the chance to see who they were. Without warning a body slammed into her almost knocking her backwards, but she fought to regain her footing.
On the cement in front of her lay a boy in a to small robe, moaning about how it hurt. She raised her eyebrow and leaned forward extending a hand to help him up.
"I'm sorry, are you okay?"
The girl he was walking with teased him and extened her own hand
"Hi, I'm Molly...Molly Sue." She snorted, tossing Flick a look.
"And this bone head who ran into is none other than the infamous Jeremy Swason."
Alex looked over the girl's cheerfullness curiously and shook her hand.
"Molly...um hi," She pushed her banges behind her ear. "I'm Alessandra...or Alex."
She watched Jeremy as he brushed himself off and sent a small wave in his direction.
"Hi."
